AP Chem is a notoriously challenging course. Previewing material over the summer can give you the edge you need to enter the course confidently! In a small group, interactive setting, we will delve into the six "Big Ideas" identified by the College Board. This one week course will provide you with an overview and a reference frame for what is coming in your AP Chemistry course. Students will be expected to complete 1-2 hours of homework and study each evening. In addition to this course, we will offer small group tutorials throughout the Fall and an AP Prep Camp during the February 2019 break.
Course textbook is not included in this fee, but we will provide textbook rental and purchase options!

Meet Your Fearless Leader!
Felicia is a scientist and an educator, passionate about helping students achieve their highest potentials. I do not just help students with content knowledge, but also show them ways to learn and help them aspire to higher goals. Many of my students bond with me as friends.
While I was working actively in research projects with NASA and at MIT, I started helping students find their interests and good matches with colleges. I am also on the Education Council at MIT, being involved with applicants' intake interviews. I can teach all math subjects and all science subjects, as I was trained in both the biological sciences and the physical sciences.
I have over 15 years of tutoring experience, both here in the US and overseas. Being trained as a scientist and an engineering, and having studied and worked at MIT, I have much insight into the learning of mathematics and the joy of mathematics. I am also an exceptional tutor in all the sciences, since I was not only a research scientist, I was also the creative director of many K-12 interactive programs produced on educational channels, and in collaboration with NASA's Education and Outreach Division.
